Zoe brings a relaxing and inspired energy to our Birmingham team. She's been licensed since 2023, having worked through an apprenticeship since 2020. She specializes in creative haircuts, enhancing and embracing natural texture, dimensional, lived in color and Zoe loves to bring out the beauty in each and every guest. Her goal is to create a comfortable environment and help guide you on how to best take care of your hair. When she's not in the salon, Zoe channels her creativity through playing live music sets, solo and with friends. She's proud to be working with Aveda and supporting her guests with vegan, cruelty free, and environmentally ethical products.

A professional since 2012, Jozy has a bubbly and warm personality that will make you feel right at home the moment you meet her! She enjoys working with a variety of hair textures and exploring which styles will compliment your unique features. Jozy has a strong background in barber cuts and special event styling, but loves color transformations as well! She spent 2019 working through Legato's advanced training program & has now earned her status as full-time behind the chair!

Bella earned her license in 2022. She loves effortlessly cool hair! Bangs, balayage, shags, and all sorts of bold color (she believes everyone needs some fun color). Bella is committed to creating a peaceful, safe environment for all types of people and all types of hair! When she's not in the salon, she loves being in nature and connection to the world around her. Bella enjoys all genres of music and meeting new people. She's proud to contribute to Aveda's mission of changing the beauty industry for the better by working with vegan and environmentally conscious products & can't wait for you to join her on her journey!

After getting a degree in graphic design, Mariah took her knowledge of the arts and focused on a new medium: beauty. From natural balayage, to vibrant coppers, rich brunettes, and bright blondes - she will design a color story that compliments you and fits with your lifestyle. She has a passion for helping her clients embrace their hair texture with a simple care routine and a custom cut that styles effortlessly and looks amazing no matter how long it’s worn. Her approach to beauty also extends beyond hair: she is a makeup artist, specializing in bridal and event makeup.

A professional since 1983, Karen believes in the philosophy “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Karen has held the prestigious title of in-salon cutting coach, and has been coaching in cutting, coloring, and styling for the past 10 years. She has attended countless advanced Aveda education classes to further her skills. She believes in educating her guests in self-styling, and will always help you achieve your desired result. A Legato employee since 2016, you have definitely had Julia book one (or a hundred) of your appointments.   She truly loves getting to know each and every face that comes into both our Farmington and Berkley locations.  She may also ask you for a before and after picture of your service, as she is the face behind our social media accounts!  Julia graduated with a BFA in acting from Wayne State University in 2022 and does film/theatre work in the Metro Detroit area where she further indulges her passion for day-making and creating smiles.
